FREE STANDING CAPACITOR BANKS

These low voltage solutions can be either detuned or unfiltered, fixed or automatic, and can cover a variety of sizes from 1kVAR to several thousand kVAR.  They have solutions available for all three phase applications from 208V to 600V.  Even if the capacitor need is custom, they can design one to fit your need.

ZERO VOLTAGE CROSSING OR PRE-INSERTION AUTOMATIC CAPACITOR BANK

Power Survey Zero Voltage Crossing (ZVC) capacitor bank is a state-of-the-art microprocessor based control.  The purpose of the ZVC system is to virtually eliminate capacitor energizing transients by independently energizing each phase of the capacitor bank coincident with the occurrence of the phase’s zero system voltage reference point.  The ZVC system is offered in both filtered and non-filtered configurations.

Power Survey can manufacture a cable simulator according to your design. A cable simulator provides an economic method of testing different lengths of cable (many km long) using different equipment (capacitor, reactor and resistor) configurations representing technical cable characteristics.
